Dr. Lederer and her Team welcome patients and families of all ages!
The Canadian Dental Association recommends that infants have their first dental visit within 6 months of the first tooth erupting. Our goal at YES Dental is to help promote oral health from an early age. First visits include an examination and discussion of a healthy diet and proper, age-appropriate dental hygiene. These topics are reinforced at regularly scheduled hygiene and recare visits, with patients of all ages.
Enjoy Our New Dental Office
We are proud of our brand new Newmarket dental office. Our kids’ play area features bright, fun colours, toys and our popular “mighty molar” stools. Our reception area features a big-screen TV and beverage centre and free WiFi. Our Surgically Clean Air unit provides an extra level of protection to the air in our office environment, and our digital xray equipment reduces your exposure to radiation when xrays are recommended. For your safety, we have an automatic external defibrillator on-site.
We haven’t overlooked any comfort details. Our dental chairs have massage and heat controls, and our operatory TV’s can be tilted for viewing whether you are sitting upright or reclining to receive your treatment.
Complete Family Dentistry
At YES Dental Family Dentistry, we are pleased to offer you complete family dental care, including:
- Check Ups and Cleanings
- Teeth Whitening
- Root Canals
If you or a family member are fearful about receiving dental treatment, nitrous oxide or laughing gas may provide just the relaxation you need to help you through a procedure.
Dental Specialty Care
Dr. Lederer has been practicing general family dentistry in Aurora and Newmarket since 1991, and has treated thousands of patients. She is pleased to offer dental treatments that will serve most of your family’s needs.
Following a thorough dental assessment, Dr. Lederer may determine that a certified dental specialist will be able to provide you with the best possible care to address your particular dental concerns. In addition to being a licensed dentist, a certified dental specialist has additional post-graduate specialty education and experience.
There are a number of reasons why specialty care may be recommended. To name just a few: orthodontic needs, pediatric dentistry for children with special or complex treatment needs, complicated root canals or extractions, worsening or severe gum disease and implant surgery. We are fortunate to have a number of certified dental specialists in Newmarket and the surrounding area.
Dr. Lederer and her Team will promptly set up the appropriate referral for you. Following your specialty treatment, Dr. Lederer will follow up with you to ensure continuity of care.

Continuing Dental Education
Did you know that in Ontario, it is mandatory for all licensed dental health professionals including dentists, certified dental assistants and registered dental hygienists, to participate in continuing education courses?
At YES Dental, our Team members often exceed the minimum required hours of continuing education, so that we are always up to date with what’s new in dentistry.
